Color Tag

Short Description

"Color Tag" is a dynamic chasing game for small to medium-sized groups that uses colors to code teams and encourages quick reactions.

Group Size: Small to Medium
Difficulty: Medium
Materials: Scarves or cloths in various colors (at least 3 colors), ample space for playing
Game Duration: Approx. 15-20 minutes

Game Description:

Form 3 or more equally sized teams. Each team ties a scarf of a specific color around their upper arm (or another easily visible spot). Everyone within a team has the same color. The goal is to color-code the teams.

Designate a playing field (not too large, as a maximum of 3 people are active at any given time). Each team lines up one behind the other in a corner of the playing field.
The first person in each line is the active player.

You always chase the color to your right and are chased by the color to your left.

Example: 3 teams, clockwise (Red, Blue, Green)
Green chases Blue, Blue chases Red, Red chases Green.

If a player is tagged/caught, they leave the playing field and go to the back of their own team's line. The next person in line can then re-enter the playing field.
