Brief Description

An icebreaker and movement game where participants find suitable partners based on commonalities.

Group Size: 6-30 people
Difficulty: Easy
Materials: Music (optional)
Game Duration: 5-15 minutes

Game Description:

Participants move freely around the room. When prompted by a facilitator, they find at least one other person who:

  • Has the same hair color
  • Has the same eye color
  • Plays the same sport
  • Has a birthday in the same month
  • Has a first name that starts with the same letter as their own
  • etc.

The prompts should be tailored to the age and composition of the group, ensuring that suitable matches can realistically be found. The game can be accompanied by music. As long as the music plays, the paired participants walk together and talk. Whenever the music stops, a new prompt is given, and new pairs are formed who then walk together for a while.
