Kommando Pimperle
Brief Description
A reaction game where commands may only be executed if they are preceded by the signal word.
Group Size: 3+ people
Difficulty: Easy
Materials: None
Game Duration: 5-10 minutes
Game Description:¶
Everyone sits in a circle.
Stretch your hands into the middle and drum your index fingers on the floor.
The game leader can now give various commands:
- Flat (fingers are placed flat on the floor)
- Back (fingers are placed upside down on the floor)
- Bridge (hands form a bridge on the floor)
- Fist (fists are placed on the floor)
- Pole (fingers point up in the air)
However, these commands may only be executed if the game leader says the word "Command" before each instruction (e.g., "Command Fist").
If they don't say it, but only the command itself (e.g., "Fist"), continue drumming your fingers on the floor. The game leader may always execute the command themselves to confuse the other players.
If someone makes a mistake, they must run one lap around the circle.
Variations:¶
The game can also be played standing up.
Instead of drumming, players march in place. The commands are then executed with the body.
- Flat (lie down on your stomach)
- Back (lie down on your back)
- Bridge (place hands and feet on the floor, arch your back with your bottom in the air)
- Fist (kneel on the floor and curl up small)
- Pole (stretch arms upwards, legs together)
After each command is executed, continue marching in place.
The commands can also be adapted to the age group.
For young children, for example, animal movements (frog, snake, elephant...) can be used.
