Cow Barn

Brief Description

A group-switching game where cows and stables quickly form new groups of three on command.

Group Size: 7+ people
Difficulty: Easy
Materials: None
Playtime: 5-10 minutes

Game Description:

A game for medium to large groups.

Groups of three are formed. Two people form a stable (stretch their arms diagonally upwards to meet the other person's hands —> forming a roof), and another person stands underneath. This person is the cow.
One person is left over. They now try to take a spot in one of the three-person groups. They can use three commands to do this: "Cow," "Stable," or "Cow-Stable."
When "Cow" is called, all cows must run out of their stables as quickly as possible and find a new one. During this time, the person who was left over can quickly enter a stable and take a cow's place. The cow left without a stable can now call out a new command.
When "Stable" is called, the stables must separate and form a roof over a different cow with a different person.
When "Cow-Stable" is called, all groups of three must break up and find a new spot. Roles can also be swapped during this. Cows can become stables, and stables can become cows.
