Murder Game
Brief Description
A silent role-playing game where a murderer kills by blinking, and the group must unmask them together.
Group Size: 8+ players
Difficulty: somewhat challenging
Materials: none
Duration: approx. 6 minutes
Game Description:¶
All players stand in a line and close their eyes. The game leader walks behind them and taps each person once, except for one person who is tapped twice. The person tapped twice is the murderer. The game begins, and everyone moves silently through the room. The murderer can kill others by blinking twice quickly. Anyone who is blinked at by the murderer waits for 3 seconds and then dies in a theatrical manner. The murderer tries to kill as many players as possible this way. However, the players have a way to catch the murderer: they can go to the game leader at any time and accuse a suspected player. But this cannot be done alone. If one player goes to the game leader, the leader counts down loudly from 10 to 0. If no second player comes forward by then, the person who went to the game leader dies. However, if a second or more player joins, the game leader counts to three, and on three, everyone who wants to accuse points at their suspect. If a majority points to one suspect, that person is eliminated. If there is no majority, all accusers die.
If the players succeed in eliminating the murderer, they win the game. However, if the murderer is skillful enough to reduce the number of players to two (besides themselves), the murderer wins the game.
