Group Size: 8+ participants
Difficulty: Easy
Materials: None
Playtime: As long as it's fun
Game Description:¶
All players stand in pairs in a circle, except for one person who is alone. The person standing alone can then call out a name. The person whose name is called tries to quickly run to the single player. But no one likes being alone! Therefore, the partner of the person who was called out tries to hold them by the shoulders or quickly hug them before they can run away. They are not allowed to chase after them! If it's too late, they can call out another name and find a new partner.
Variations:¶
If this is too easy, you can also play the game by having everyone adopt the name of their current partner. This means the pairs swap names. If a neighbor swaps during the game, the names are swapped again.
