Short Description

A mat game where penguins move an ice floe across the room while a polar bear defends it.

Group Size: 6-31 people
Difficulty: Medium
Materials: One large soft mat (as the ice floe)
Game Duration: Approx. 5-15 minutes

Game Description:

One polar bear is chosen and positions themselves on a large soft mat (the ice floe).

The other participants, the penguins, want to drive the polar bear out of its territory. They achieve this by pushing and pulling the ice floe to the other side of the room.

The polar bear can defend itself by trying to tag the penguins.

If a penguin is tagged, they must run a lap around the ice floe.

The penguins win when they have moved the ice floe to the other side.
