Seat Swap by Eye Contact

Brief Description

A quiet circle game where participants arrange a seat swap through eye contact while remaining attentive.

Group Size: 5-25 people
Difficulty: Easy
Materials: None
Game Duration: 5-10 minutes

Game Description:

A circle game for small to medium-sized groups.
Everyone stands in a circle. Participants try to make eye contact with another person and confirm this connection with a slight nod of the head. Once contact is established in this way, participants swap places by simply walking through the center of the circle, exchanging their spot with the person they made contact with.

Everyone plays simultaneously, which trains attention and communication. You need to be alert to notice who is looking at you and wants to swap places.

As an extension, you can progressively reduce the required contact. Initially, a nod is still necessary, but this refines over time until only eye contact determines whether you swap places or not.

Variations:

The variation involves reducing the required signals for successful contact.
Ultimately, a simple glance without further physical signals is sufficient to establish and confirm contact.
