Sugar Water Shooting

Brief Description

A name-reaction game where imaginary water pistols trigger quick name duels.

Group Size: 6 to 20 participants
Difficulty: Slightly challenging
Materials: None
Game Duration: Approx. 7 minutes

Game Description:

All players have an imaginary water pistol filled with sugary water. Since sugary water is incredibly sticky in hair, nobody wants to get hit by it. One person starts by saying the name of a player in the circle who is not their neighbor, simultaneously aiming their imaginary pistol at them. The targeted player must quickly duck out of the way. If they fail to do so, they are hit and eliminated from the game. However, if they duck in time, the neighbors of that player are now up and must duel each other. They also have to "shoot" each other as quickly as possible by saying each other's names. Whoever loses the duel sits down. Now it's the turn of the person who was originally targeted, and they can call out and "shoot" someone else (not their neighbor) by name. As players are constantly eliminated, everyone gains new neighbors and has to call out different names. This makes the game excellent for memorizing everyone's names.
