game-diabolo-in-box

Group Size: 2 to 40 players
Difficulty: einfach
Material: Diabolos, handsticks, box or basket
Duration: approx. 5-10 minutes

Game Description

Players stand behind a throwing line, spin up their diabolos and try to throw them into a box, bucket or basket placed across the hall. Throws can happen one at a time or on a shared signal.

A diabolo scores if it lands in the target and stays there. Successful throws score points or send players through to the next round. To create a final, increase the distance, reduce the target size or require several successful throws.

Setup

  • Place a box or basket at a suitable distance from the throwing line.
  • Give all players enough room to throw safely.
  • Decide whether players throw one at a time or together.

Variations

  • Use teams and count total successful throws.
  • Let beginners stand closer and advanced players farther away.
  • Use several targets with different point values.

Safety Notes

A fixed target is safest. Avoid human-held targets unless everyone involved has explicitly agreed and the throws are controlled.
