Skipping
Short Description
A player throws the diabolo upward, skips or jumps a required number of times, and then catches it again.
Group Size: 2 to 40 players
Difficulty: mittel
Material: Diabolos, handsticks, skipping rope or clear jump space
Duration: approx. 5-15 minutes
Game Description¶
A player throws the diabolo upward, skips or jumps a required number of times, and then catches it again. The first round requires one skip, the next round two, and so on until only one player remains.
Variations¶
For younger groups, allow simple jumps instead of rope skipping.
Safety Notes¶
Keep the playing area clear and define the limits before the round starts. For contact games, target props rather than bodies. For throwing, riding, balancing or acrobatic games, leave enough space for failed attempts and stop the round if the group starts taking unsafe risks.
